About PlanCamps
PlanCamps exists because planning a summer is harder than it should be. Camp information is scattered across hundreds of websites, PDFs and Facebook posts, and no two camps describe their weeks, ages or prices the same way. We gather it in one place and give parents a grid to plan on.
Where the listings come from
We collect camp details from camps' own websites and public registration pages — dates, ages, hours, care options and prices — and check the links regularly. Today that covers 9,919 camps across 172 cities. Every listing shows when we last checked it.
What ● Verified means
Camp directors can claim their listing using an email address on the camp's own website domain, confirm or correct every fact, and agree to keep it current. A moderator reviews the changes before they go live. Verified camps carry the ● Verified mark on PlanCamps and can show a matching badge on their own site.
What we don't do
We don't sell your family's information, and we don't rank camps by who pays us. Promoted listings are always labelled. Where a camp offers registration through its own site, the camp sets the price.
